Platinum tokens are the coin you hold when your gold will not fit in one stack. In Old School RuneScape a platinum token is worth 1,000 coins, fixed, and a bank will swap coins for tokens or tokens for coins whenever you ask.[1][2] They exist because a single stack of coins stops at 2,147,483,647, the largest number a signed 32-bit integer can hold. Players call that stack max cash.[3]
PLAT brings the same idea to Solana. $GP, RuneScape Gold, is a coin on stonkfun that pays its holders in tokenized gold (GLDx).[4] PLAT launched on stonkfun on 18 September 2026, quoted in $GP, so holding PLAT pays you in $GP, and holding $GP pays you in gold.
PLAT: Plat pays in gp. Gp pays in gold. Hand in hand.
Live stats
Everything below refreshes on its own once a minute. PLAT is on the stonkfun bonding curve right now, so early numbers move fast, and the pool figures switch to the Raydium pool when it graduates.
The gold behind the platinum
$GP, full name RuneScape Gold, is the coin PLAT pays out in. It launched on stonkfun on 8 September 2026 paired against GLDx, tokenized gold, and every transfer of $GP feeds a pot that pays holders in gold.[4][5] These are its live numbers. The only real $GP contract is HTmQz7My6MehV7bjhJ6jde8nDND1yvsz68d24LP7YgUQ. A copy with the same name and a fake multi-billion market cap trades on another exchange, so read the address, never the name.[6]

Mechanics
| In the game | On Solana | |
|---|---|---|
| The unit | 1 platinum token = 1,000 coins, a fixed rate.[2][8] | 1 PLAT trades against $GP on stonkfun at whatever the market says. |
| Why it exists | A stack of coins stops at 2,147,483,647, because the game stores stack sizes as signed 32-bit integers.[3][9] | $GP holders get paid in gold. PLAT holders get paid in $GP. Platinum sits one step above gold in both worlds. |
| Converting | Use coins on a banker, bank booth, bank chest or bank buffalo. The bank asks "Exchange your coins for platinum tokens?" and the same works in reverse.[10][11] | Swap $GP for PLAT on the stonkfun token page. Swap back whenever you like. |
| Where it spends | Player trades and stakes. Not the Grand Exchange, not shops, as of today.[8][12] | Any Solana wallet, Jupiter, DexScreener, stonkfun. |
| What it buys | Anything priced above max cash. An item worth 4 billion coins changes hands for 4 million tokens.[1] | A stream of $GP, which is itself a stream of gold. |
Conversion table
| Platinum tokens | Coins | Note |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1,000 | The fixed rate.[2] |
| 2,147 | 2,147,000 | The scam number. 2,147 tokens is two million, not two billion. Multiply by 1,000 every time.[1] |
| 2,147,483 | 2,147,483,647 | Max cash, with 647 coins left over.[3] |
| 2,147,483,647 | 2,147,483,647,000 | A max stack of tokens, about 2.147 trillion coins.[1] |
| 2,147,483,647 + max cash | 2,149,631,130,647 | The most one trade window can move. "Just over 2 trillion coins."[1] |
How the client draws a stack
The number on a stack changes colour as it grows. Below 100,000 it is exact and yellow. From 100,000 it turns white with a K. From 10,000,000 it turns green with an M, which is why a rich player's pile is called a green cash stack.[9][13]
Priced in plat
The Grand Exchange cannot post an offer above max cash, so the most expensive items in the game sit pinned at 2,147,483,647 coins and change hands in person, paid in platinum tokens.[14][15] Jagex has announced a change that would let the Exchange take coins and platinum tokens together, about 2.149 trillion combined. It was not live when this page was written.[14][16]

How to buy
- Get $GP. Buy RuneScape Gold on stonkfun or through Jupiter.
- Walk up to the bank. Open the PLAT page on stonkfun and exchange $GP for PLAT. Exchange your coins for platinum tokens? Yes.
- Hold. PLAT is a stonkfun reward launch. A tax on every transfer feeds the pot, and the pot pays holders in $GP. Nothing to claim.
- Convert back whenever you like. Plat to gp is one swap, the same as at a bank.
Trivia
- Max cash, 2,147,483,647, is a Mersenne prime.[9]
- Platinum tokens weigh nothing, cannot be alchemised and cannot be noted.[1]
- Casting an alchemy spell on coins returns the message "Coins are already made of gold."[3]
- Five platinum tokens go into building a tip jar in a player-owned house.[21]
- Jagex on the 2018 coin pouch glitch, through Mod Ash: someone tried to guard against overflowing the integer limit and "did it very wrong."[18]
- The 64-bit engine work behind the Beyond Max Cash proposal "would let us go all the way up to the realms of 9 quintillion."[14]
- The wiki's welcome-screen message on release day read "1000 coins = 1 token."[22]
- The tokens have five sprites, one each for a stack of one to five. Six tokens look the same as five.[1]
